September 10, 2023, marked a momentous occasion for West Cannon Baptist Church of Belmont, MI. For the first time in 43 years, the church publicly installed a new Lead Teaching Pastor, Zachary Horn.

“It is Zach’s gifts and his character that qualify him to be our pastor” said the former Lead Teaching Pastor, Doug Crawford, in his challenge to the congregation.

The celebration was a mix of emotion as Pastor Doug symbolically and literally handed the baton to Pastor Zach. The church praises the Lord for His goodness and is excited to start this new chapter under Pastor Zach’s leadership!

West Cannon Baptist Church has been uniquely blessed by Pastor Doug’s 43 years of service and held an additional celebration to pay special ‘double honor’ to him (1 Tim 5:17).

Pastor Doug will continue serving the Lord as the Executive Director of the Bridge Fellowship.
