Biographies

Garrett Higbee is the Director of Lead Healthy Retreats, an intensive counseling
ministry for ministry leaders and wives. He was trained as a clinical psychologist with a
specialty in marriage and family counseling but had a radical conversion in 1992, which
led him to trust in Christ and His Word for all things related to life and counseling. He
founded Twelve Stones Ministries in 2004, and more recently, Soul Care Consulting
(SCC), a ministry to develop healthy pastors, leaders, and care culture in the church.
Garrett is a founding board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

Pat Quinn has been the Director of Counseling Ministries at University Reformed
Church since 2009. He has a passion for equipping the saints in biblical counseling and
discipleship. In addition to counseling Pat teaches and trains regularly at University
Reformed Church and is a blogger for the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

Kathy Bourque is a pastor’s wife at Red Cedar Church in Okemos. Kathy Bourque is a
pastor’s wife at Red Cedar Church in Okemos. She is a seasoned counselor trained
under Christian Counseling & Education Foundation.

Fred Froman is a pastor at Holt Baptist Church and a member of the Association of
Certified Biblical Counselors.
