Columbiaville Baptist Church is hosting its 2026 Bible Conference on Saturday, September 12th. This year, our conference speaker is Dr. Greg Stiekes, pastor of Gateway Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, SC.

 

A Michigan native, Greg Stiekes has been involved in pastoral ministry for nearly three decades. He has earned degrees from BJU, Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Erskine Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Southeastern Theological Seminary. Dr. Stiekes has also served on the faculty of Bob Jones University and Central Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Pastor Stiekes’s topic is “The Virtue of Loving God with All Your Heart: How Spiritual Devotion Shapes the Affections.” The main scripture focus will be on Deuteronomy 6:4–5. Pastor Stiekes will speak on cultivating right affection for God both in ourselves and in those whom Christ has called to disciple. The teaching will be appropriate for pastors and lay people of all ages. 

 

The free conference begins at 10 AM and will end mid-afternoon.
