The statistics on pastoral health, contentment and longevity are both alarming and disheartening.  While we applaud the formal training of pastors for the frontstage challenges of ministry,  the backstage challenges of character development, soul care, accountability, fruit bearing, devotional life, etc… are too often ignored.   How can mentoring address the problem and help produce balanced, thriving pastors to lead Christ’s church until He comes?
